Proprietor William Turner began to collect pallets back in 1985. With help from his wife Marie and 2 sons Russell & Darren, the broken pallets were repaired and sold back out to the trade. They did this from their family home for a while before setting up a site in Birmingham and creating the family business Turners Pallets. Business continued to grow and great relationships with customers were built, we have customers trading with us today who have been with us since 1986.
The partnership incorporated in 2013 and now the family trade as Turners Pallets & Recycling Services Ltd
Brothers Russell & Darren followed their father’s footsteps and joined the world of pallets as soon as they left school. Now Russell & Darren have teamed up with their Mother as Directors continuing to work as a family building the business after sadly losing Bill in July 2014.
Russell enjoys spending time out on the yard with the guys, getting involved and talking with our customers & suppliers you can also find Russell sweeping the yard or driving the forklift on the odd occasion!
Darren likes to keep in the warm, you will find Darren in the office most days buying in the pallets which suppliers bring to our yard to sell, if he isn’t in the office Darren will be out visiting our customers to ensure we are keeping up with their requirements or he may be visiting new potential customers, we try to meet with all our customers to ensure we have all their needs covered.
Turners Pallets & Recycling Services Ltd now operate from a vast site in Birmingham which allows us to store stocks of over 150,000 pallets ready for dispatch. Our site is one of the largest depots and distribution networks in and around the West Midlands.

We stock a huge variety of pallets for UK and export purposes. Unlike many other companies, we also operate our own on site heat treatment facility which allows us to provide customers and other pallet dealers with pallets suitable for export. Our onsite workshop facilities mean all used pallets are quality checked before leaving our site, which means you save on the price of new pallets by receiving the highest specification of recycled.
